Welcome to the 11th AIROYoung Workshop

We are pleased to invite you to the 11th AIROYoung Workshop, which will be held in Salerno, Italy, from the 22nd to the 24th of February 2027, with the title:

Cybersecurity, Disinformation Mitigation, and Emerging Challenges in Operations Research

Modern societies increasingly rely on interconnected systems and communities, which are particularly exposed to cyberattacks, data breaches, disinformation, and online manipulation. Operations Research can contribute to building more secure, reliable, and resilient systems by supporting decision makers in anticipating threats, assessing vulnerabilities, allocating limited resources, and designing effective mitigation strategies.

The workshop will welcome contributions on these and other emerging challenges, including network design, resource allocation, interdiction, information diffusion, influence limitation, and decision-making under uncertainty, as well as contributions from all areas of Operations Research and Decision and Data Science.
